Description=A disfigured musical genius, hidden away in the Paris Opera House, terrorizes the opera company for the unwitting benefit of a young protégée whom he trains and loves.
director=Laurence Connor, Nick Morris.
Easily the best phantom/Christine combo.
4:40 : I love how Christine grasps at her throat after the high note, amazed at what the Phantom has been able to draw out of her. Meanwhile, Sierra Boggess (and anyone else who plays Christine) hits that note every night.
I hate that people hate this movie. Sure, it’s got flaws, but so does the stage musical. If you don’t like it because it’s different from the musical, say you don’t like it, don’t say it has no place existing. This is a good movie and I love it.
Absolutely made the world a better place 💖 Thank you ALW
Sierra is SOOOOO beautiful and talented! OH MY GOD.
After watching this i bought this recording in amazon because i just had to watch it again. Seriously the best cast, Ramin is definitely the best phantom in my opinion. So talented, i could watch this over and over and never get bored. Wow.
At the end of Wishing, Andrew Lloyd Webber had tears coming down his eyes. AW. Ramin is VERY Handsome. <3.
I started taking pipe organ lessons recently, mostly so that I'd have a chance to one day play this song on the greatest, most appropriate instrument in the world.
Man I am so jealous i wanna go I already read the book.
Tim O Michael plays the phantom like a scary ghost, and Ramin plays the phantom like a powerful man! In order to determine the best phantom, you gotta find out which one you prefer, and honestly, I'll never be able to do that! I like them both in different ways.
I wish I could sing like Ramin! 3 All I can do is sing like Cinderella’s step sisters D.
If someone sang to me like that, ID PROBABLY SING AND HIT THE HIGH E AS WELL.
I just this version of Phantom of the Opera last night with one of my dearest friends and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it! Pretty much this is the best version I have seen so far! Everyone did a fabulous job at portraying their characters especially Ramin and Sierra. Towards the end of the show, my friend and I completely lost it because of the intense emotions that the two literally put into their characters so well that their performance will tug on your heartstrings. Ramin is by far the best Phantom in my opinion. He blew me away by not just his voice but the emotions he put into his character, showing his character’s sensitive side and vulnerability with just a dose of sexuality. I do put him as my favorite above Gerard Butler’s Phantom (Gerard was very good in the 2004 movie version, but he didn’t have that intense emotion that Ramin has. Sierra was excellent and the best Christine I have seen so far (Emmy Rossum was also very good in the 2004 version, but sounded more classical than operatic to me. Towards the end, Sierra’s emotions got the best of me and I did see she fought really hard to stay in character when she sang one last time to the Phantom. I have always been not a fan of Raoul and I still am not,but the guy who played him in this version has an amazing voice and played his character well! I think he exaggerated his performance just a tiny bit, but at least he didn’t have an emotional breakdown on stage. For the lady who played Carlotta was hilarious and she is right up there next to Minnie Driver’s 2004 version. It was great having Carlotta as the snobbish but sort of comedy reliever that makes the story less intense. All in all, like I said everyone on the stage performed well into their characters and I truly want to see them perform in other Broadway roles as well. Well worth watching on Netflix and be sure to have a box of tissues near in case.
I purchased this movie, and its not letting me download it.
3:36. GOOSEBUMPS. this is hands down the best couple for these single movement of his body language & hand gestures portray the hypnotic power the Phantom had over Christine & her body language perfectly mirrors the spell he had her their voices are absolutely amazing…
You know, if hed stop killing people, being over possessive and stay as long as he kept singing.
